I first met the stalwart and sassy Lucy Tressler Thornhill in August of 2010 on a seventeen-day wagon train from Miles City, MT to Deadwood, SD. I had no idea how she would change my life. Fast forward to March 7 of 2025, and I have five novels in the historic series on her life and times. Much of the first research took place in and around the ghost town of Landusky, MT which put me on the old west trail of the famed Kid Curry.
Meet the young Logan Brothers, Johnny, Harvey, Lon or Lonie. They were teenage cowboys. This photo taken shortly after their arrival in Montana. They would become famous as the Curry Brothers.
